New Course, St Andrews
Opened in 1895, the New Course is considered to be the oldest 'New' course in the world. Designed by Old Tom Morris, the New Course is probably one of the best examples of his work, it has a traditional links layout which is a first class golfing challenge.  It is my favourite of the St Andrews Courses. More Details


Jubilee Course, St Andrews
The course was named in honour of Queen Victoria, whose Diamond Jubilee fell in 1897. It started out as a 12 hole layout designed for beginners and juniors but was extended and remodelled in 1905 and is now 18 holes and is considered one of the the tougher tests at St Andrews. More Details


Eden Course, St Andrews
Opened in 1914 and designed by Harry S Colt, whose other designs included Hoylake, Pine Valley, Sunningdale and Wentworth. It was designed as a tough test for all golfers with severe bunkering, undulating greens and many carries off the tee to reach the fairways. More Details


Strathtyrum Course, St Andrews
Opened in 1993 and designed by Donald Steel, the Strathtyrum Course is there to offer more enjoyable golf,. The course complements the tougher, championship layouts in St Andrews. It is shorter and, with only 15 bunkers, has less hazards facing the golferMore Details


Balgove Course, St Andrews (9 holes)
Opened originally in 1972, it was reopened in June 1993 after undergoing extensive changes. The 1520 yard nine hole course is designed to be welcoming to beginners and junior golfers More Details
